Terms and Conditions
Effective October 28, 2026. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and Accounting Hero LLC (“Accounting Hero,” “we,” “us”), a Georgia limited liability company and CPA firm located at 7553 Macon Highway, Suite B, Watkinsville, GA 30677. They govern your use of the website at myaccountinghero.com, including its forms, assessments, and articles (the “Site”).
2. The Site is information, not advice
Everything on the Site, including the Resources articles, pricing pages, checklists, the Tax CLEAR Check, and the Business CLEAR Assessment, is general information about tax and accounting topics. It is not tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice for your situation, and it does not create a CPA-client relationship. Tax law changes often and depends on facts we do not know until we work with you. Do not act on anything on the Site without talking to a qualified professional about your own circumstances.
3. Assessments and scores
The Tax CLEAR Check and the Business CLEAR Assessment produce a general result or CLEAR Score based only on the answers you give. They are conversation starters, not audits, reviews, or opinions on your books or returns. A result does not mean a return will be accepted by the IRS or the Georgia Department of Revenue, that your books are accurate, or that any service will produce a particular outcome.
4. Becoming a client
Submitting a form, completing an assessment, or booking a call does not make you a client. We become your CPA firm only when both of us sign an engagement letter that describes the services, fees, responsibilities, and confidentiality terms. If anything on the Site conflicts with your engagement letter, the engagement letter controls. We may decline any engagement at our discretion.
5. Pricing on the Site
Prices shown on the Site are starting points for typical situations as of the effective date. Final fees depend on the complexity of your returns, the condition of your records, and the scope we agree on. You receive a written price before we begin preparation or cleanup work, and that written price, not the Site, is what applies.
6. What you may not send through the Site
Do not submit Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, bank or card numbers, passwords, or tax documents through the Site’s forms. Sensitive records are exchanged only through the secure client portal we provide after engagement. You are responsible for anything you choose to submit, and you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to send spam or automated submissions, to probe or disrupt its security, to scrape or copy its content in bulk, to impersonate another person or business, or for any unlawful purpose. We use spam traps and bot checks and may block traffic that appears abusive.
8. Our content and trademarks
The Site’s text, graphics, logo, the Accounting Hero name, and The CLEAR Method™ name and framework (Clean Up, Layout, Establish, Analyze, Reinforce) belong to Accounting Hero LLC or are used with permission. You may read, print, and share links to pages for personal or internal business use. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, or create derivative works from the content, or use the CLEAR Method name to market accounting services, without our written permission.
9. Third-party tools and links
The Site uses outside services for hosting, email delivery, analytics, session recording, scheduling, and conversion measurement, and it links to third-party websites such as IRS.gov. Those services and sites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. How they handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
10. No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it accurate and online, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, free of viruses, or that content is current or complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, Accounting Hero LLC, its members, and its employees are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, penalties, or interest, arising from your use of or reliance on the Site. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to $100. This section does not limit liability for services we provide under a signed engagement letter, which is addressed there, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to defend and hold harmless Accounting Hero LLC from claims and costs, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from information you submit through the Site or from your breach of these terms.
13. Privacy
Our collection and use of information through the Site is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
14. Georgia law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Oconee County, Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
15. Changes
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
